a) Allocation of space per automobile
b) Pricing
2) Automobile growth in the last 10 years in the city and the growth in the parking spaces.
3) Identifying the areas as highly congested areas, congested and less congested areas.
4) To check if the growth in parking spaces and automobiles have been proportional over the years i.e. satisfying the adequate parking space/car ratio.
5) What is the difference between the actual parking/car ratio and adequate parking/car ratio?
6) Identifying Illegal parking spaces in the city.
7) What are the international best practise for the same and how can they be adopted to manage parking spaces in the city?
8) How can intelligent pricing help solve the problem?
Research method:
Primary: Field trip for analysing the ground realities and problems associated with the parking space management in the city and to gather the first hand information about the pricing in different regions in the city, also to identify regions as highly congested, congested and low congested.
Interviews with concerned authorities like the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), etc. and parking space contractors for public parking spaces.
Secondary: Analysing the legislations for the city by the state government regarding the parking spaces.
Analysing best practices internationally

5th week:
Start writing the paper and to finish the un-finished work, if any, from the previous weeks.
6th week:
Continue writing the paper and to put finishing touches.

fantastic topic. There are both legal and economic elements to this. Pricing is an important part of solving scarcity problems, but so is technology, and often they interact, study this carefully
I can help you with different pricing models once you a bit into your research
Also, have a look at whether firms are allowed to run for-profit parking spaces.
Write, write, write. Don’t wait till the last weeks to write your papers. Start documenting, and writing parts of the paper from day 1. Paper should grow over time, needless to say you’ll restructure and re-write as time progresses
Great luck!
Thanks for the comments. so far whatever literature that I have read regarding laws and regulations (online) I was not able to draw some concrete findings or conclusions as in how the public areas are alloted to private players for parking managment and at what pricing, so I am planning to visit the concerned authorities as early as possible. Also there are some projects in the city that are under process to deal the same problem.
Would like to discuss the questions to be asked before meeting the concerned authorities.
